Olivia Culpo made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2018 with the “In Her Own Words” special project and an in-studio photo shoot. The following year, she famously posed with a python around her neck in Kangaroo Island, Australia. In ’20, the 30-year-old landed the cover alongside Kate Bock and Jasmine Sanders. She returned to be photographed again in ’21 in Hollywood, Fla.

Culpo was crowned Miss Rhode Island, Miss USA and Miss Universe in 2012, and at 5’7”, she was the shortest woman to do so. As someone who has been in front of the camera for years—most recently with her reality docuseries The Culpo Sisters—her self-love journey has been anything but linear.

“To truly just embrace who you are is a beautiful thing. Beauty to me is love, charisma, energy,” she said. “I would never say I’ve arrived at where I want to be. I love that about life—I love to grow. For anyone watching this who doesn’t feel like they’re there yet, it’s because it’s a lifelong journey.”
