9 Magnificent Photos of Winnie Harlow in Great Exuma

In 2019, Canadian model Winnie Harlow became the newest SI Swimsuit rookie. To her proven modeling record, which included an appearance on the hit television series America’s Next Top Model, the 29-year-old added an SI Swimsuit magazine appearance in Great Exuma, Bahamas with Laretta Houston.

The photoshoot featured a series of vibrant high-cut one-piece swimsuits—including a fiery red scoop-neck pick—and glamorous printed and crocheted bikinis. Harlow brought her best to the beach, taking to the sand and the water of the North Atlantic Ocean with style and poise. She even took the opportunity to get a little bit out of her comfort zone, posing for a series of photos on a swing above the ocean.

“Not only was the swing unbalanced, slippery, not stable—I can’t swim and we were in deeper water,” she explained while on set. “So, that was a little bit tricky.”

But the model knew that there was work to be done and beautiful photos to produce, and her mentality about the challenge reflected that. “It’s always best to put your best foot forward and try to make everything positive [and] light,” she said. “[It] wouldn’t have been that positive if I fell in the water off the swing, but that didn’t happen, so we’re A-O.K.”
