Brazilian model Cintia Dicker is the definition of a seasoned SI Swimsuit model. She appeared in five consecutive issues of the magazine, beginning in 2009 and ending in 2013. While all of the photoshoots she starred in were fantastic, one of the more unique ones was her sophomore feature with the magazine.

In 2010, Dicker traveled to Portugal with photographer Stewart Shining for her second consecutive feature. The photoshoot included dips in a picturesque pool and walks through vineyards of the Portuguese countryside. The final photos were—like all of Dicker’s SI Swimsuit captures—incredible.

By the time she made her way to Portugal for that second feature, she was 24-years-old and had already been working in the industry for more than nine years. In a “25 Facts About Me” that she did for SI Swimsuit in 2013, the model shared bits about her beginnings, including her decision to move to New York City at the age of 15 to pursue a modeling career.

The now 36-year-old likewise shared her desire “to marry and to have children” in her list of facts—a wish that she has recently fulfilled. The model married professional surfer and fellow Brazilian Pedro Scooby in 2020, and they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Aurora, last December.

The SI Swimsuit team is grateful to have had the chance to work with Dicker for that five-year stretch and happy that she is now fulfilling some of her other aspirations. Below are nine of our favorite photos from her second year with the magazine in Portugal.
