Get to know Action Bronson: foodie, rapper and headline act at Sunday's Summer of Swim Fan Festival
As if Nina Agdal, Hannah Jeter and the SI Swimsuit models weren't enough reason to come to Coney Island on Sunday, here's one more ... Action Bronson! The Queens rapper will headline SI's Summer of Swim Marquee Concert at the Coney Island Amphitheater at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available. Action Bronson will also curate a collection of food trucks, which he's very excited about.
Action Bronson, if you aren't aware, is not only a rapper but a former cook at his dad's restaurant in Queens. He took that passion for food to the small screen with F--K, That's Delicious on the Viceland channel. Now he's taking it to Sunday's event in Coney Island. No word on whether or not he'll really ride the Cyclone.
The performance will take place following the FREE all-day Summer of Swim Fan Festival at the iconic Coney Island Boardwalk. The daytime portion of the event is open to the public from noon-5 p.m. and will feature a series of activities including model appearances, meet and greets, interactive experiences, pop-up shops and games.
