Alabama or USC? Julie Henderson, Jessica White and Katherine Webb make the choice a little harder

The 2016 college football season is officially upon us. And as Alabama and USC prepare to take the stage tomorrow night, we couldn't help but think back to a few collegiate shoots of our own.

As fate would have it, the ladies of SI Swimsuit have shown their spirit in cardinal and gold, and crimson and white before. So why not honor Flashback Friday with a little friendly competition?

USC: Almost ten years ago, we took SI Swimsuit models Julie Henderson and Jessica White out to LA to pose with the famed Trojan Marching Band. Wearing the school's colors on what was guaranteed to be the hottest day of the year in the City of Angels, our ladies brushed up on their marching skills and instantly ignited jealousy amongst band members across the United States.

ALABAMA: What kind of sports magazine would we be if we hadn't found a way to incorporate one of college football's most decorated school's into SI Swimsuit? Enter Katherine Webb-McCarron. The former Miss Alabama turned wife to the former quarterback of the Crimson Tide shot to fame during the 2013 BCS National Championship Game. The timing of that game and a rabid Alabama fan base gave way to a houndstooth-clad digital shoot that will both infuriate and flatter Alabama and Auburn fans for the rest of time.

So who will be victorious this weekend? If you ask us, Julie, Jessica and Katherine are the real winners in this showdown.
