The Academy Awards are not just an event to honor the year's best films but also a night to celebrate the best in fashion as the world's top fashion designers outfit Hollywood's biggest stars. Despite feeling under the weather, SI's fashion guru, Swimsuit model Alyssa Miller, spoke to SwimDaily about three of her favorite outfits from Sunday's festivities. Here is Alyssa's take on the outfits worn by Charlize Theron, Jessica Chastain and Naomi Watts.

I loved Charlize's white Dior Gown. It really popped on the red carpet. I love the short hair as well! She really looked stunning!

Jessica looked every bit the movie star in her Giorgio Armani gown. The red lipstick really made this look stand out for me. She looked very old Hollywood glamour!

Naomi also wore Giorgio Armani, and the color was amazing! It was a great color for her and the asymmetrical top was really different from anything else anyone was wearing.
