Anne V in Cubs body paint is our favorite part about the World Series

The Chicago Cubs haven't won the World Series since 1908. And in case you're not good at math (don't worry, we're not either), that's a hella long time. Could this be their year?

As we get ready to tune into Game 2 on Fox at 7:08 p.m. ET, we couldn't help but wonder if we should offer some help. A good luck charm, if you will.

• Which team deserves a World Series title more?

Back in 2005, we created a story called "Uniform Appeal," where some of our favorite girls of all time were body-painted in iconic jerseys. Among those was the one and only Anne V decorated in those famous pinstripes, like you've never seen them before.

Down 1-0 in the series, we have a feeling seeing Anne V in Cubs-themed body paint is exactly the morale boost the team needs. Talk about some serious team spirit, Anne. Plus, this way regardless of the outcome, Cubs fans around the world can call themselves victorious. We've never body painted an Indians jersey on anyone...just saying.
