Anne V Stuns in These 6 Vibrant Bikinis in Seychelles

The SI Swimsuit legend nailed her 2012 feature in the East African country.

Anne V was photographed by James Macari on Desroches Island, Seychelles.

While Russian-American model Anne V first joined the SI Swimsuit family in 2005, she went on to be featured in 10 different SI Swimsuit Issues through 2014, often posing for several photoshoots within the same year.

The now 37-year-old has posed along some of the most immaculate beaches in the world while working with the brand, and was even photographed in nothing but bodypaint during her rookie year. Her most recent SI Swimsuit feature took place in Brazil, but there’s just something special about the model’s 2012 photoshoot on Desroches Island, Seychelles that we constantly return to.

Perhaps its the many vibrant bikinis that she modeled while in the East African country, which were a stark contrast to her edgier personal style while off-duty, at least at the time.

“In my personal life I guess [my go-to style is] kind of leather rocker chick—very boyish, very comfortable,” she told Harper’s Bazaar that year. “For red carpet events, I feel like people always look very beautiful but they don't take chances. Since I’m a model, if I don’t really push the envelope, who else will do it? I try to take a lot of chances, which is really fun but then I end up being on the worst-dressed list.”

Below are just a few of our favorite photos from Anne’s photoshoot in Seychelles with James Macari. In each of them, she rocked bright bikinis that made both her and her verdant surroundings shine.
