Author and Actress Megan Fox Dazzles in These 7 Photos From the Dominican Republic

This year has been an incredible one for the Tennessee native, who graced the cover of the SI Swimsuit Issue and released her first poetry book.

So far, 2023 has been a big year for actress Megan Fox. The star, who made her acting debut in 2001, joined the SI Swimsuit family this year, posing for her first photoshoot with the brand and gracing the cover of the annual issue. She traveled to the Dominican Republic for her feature, where she posed for an incredible series of pics with photographer Greg Swales.

Now, in addition to both her prolific acting career—including big roles in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and the Transformers series—and her modeling endeavors, the 37-year-old is a published author, too. She announced via Instagram on Nov. 8 that her poetry book, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, is out now. 

The collection features over 70 original poems by Fox, telling stories of her life through the art form. Alongside the announcement, she debuted her new hairdo—a vibrant red bob right in line with seasonal trends.

The new hairdo contrasts widely with the lengthy black hairstyle that she sported during her 2023 SI Swimsuit photoshoot. She wore her long dark hair in a slight beach wave, a look fitting for the tropical locale and the occasion.

While there, the Tennessee native proved that she really can do it all. Though she doesn’t work as a model on a regular basis, she proved she had the talent for it in the Dominican Republic.
