Bar Refaeli’s 5 Best Photos From Her Glamorous SI Swimsuit Photoshoot in the Maldives

From 2007 to ’14, Bar Refaeli made a total of six appearances in the annual SI Swimsuit Issue. It was the kind of run that has cemented her status as one of the legends of the brand. In fact, her 2014 appearance came as part of the 50th anniversary legends photoshoot, really cementing her status among the SI Swimsuit family.

Each feature was just as stunning as the last, taking place between a series of incredible tropical destinations and a New York studio, where she posed with Aerosmith in 2007 and alongside a handful of professional athletes—Michael Phelps, Rafael Nadal and Chris Paul—in 2012.

Given her track record, we could never declare one or another of her features our ultimate favorite, but we can say with some confidence that her 2010 trip to the Maldives with photographer Walter Iooss Jr. will forever be worth taking a look back at. It was the 38-year-old’s fourth consecutive year being featured in the annual issue, and she treated it accordingly, bringing her best to the beaches of the beautiful archipelago in the Indian Ocean.

Though it’s been just about 10 years since the model last took to the pages of the magazine, she is just as active as ever in her modeling career. Between brand campaigns and magazine covers, she continues to put her skill in front of the lens on display—just as she did on the beaches in 2010.
