Body Neutrality Influencer Sixtine Dazzles in Dominica for 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue

The model posed for her rookie feature on the Caribbean island.

Sixtine embraced the elements of Dominica for her rookie SI Swimsuit photo shoot with photographer Yu Tsai.

The content creator and model revealed that she felt she manifested her SI Swimsuit appearance.

“I was like, ‘O.K., Sports Illustrated. That would be cool. That sounds fun,’” she shared. “So I have a picture of one of the girls holding her Sports Illustrated magazine in Times Square, and it’s in the bottom corner [of my vision board]. I honestly forgot it was there, and then when I got the call, I was like, this is literally on my vision board. … It’s kind of just unreal.”

At her photo shoot the model sported earthy tones and natural materials found right on the island, including a swimsuit from Mare Perpetua that featured lush green color and a necklace by Cleopatra's Bling.

Sixtine has appeared in numerous campaigns for notable brands such as SKIMS, Aerie and Ulta. The body neutrality advocate uses her platform to encourage her followers to embrace their bodies just as they are, regardless of shape or size. She has amassed over 800K followers on TikTok by body inclusive content, and in particular a famed “Swimsuit Series” in which she reviews size inclusive swimwear. In addition to her work in the fashion industry, she attended NYU, where she received a degree with a concentration in psychology, human rights and politics, with a minor in child and adolescent mental health studies from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
