Brazilian Pop Star Anitta Dazzled in Glamorous Bikinis on the Beaches of Florida

The Grammy-nominated musician made her mark in SI Swimsuit’s 2021 issue.

Brazilian singer Anitta didn’t need to dig too deep to channel her inner pop star on the beaches of Hollywood, Fla., during her SI Swimsuit feature in 2021. 

The musician, who has been regarded as one of Brazil’s most famous personalities, broke Spotify’s record for the first solo Latin song to top the Global Daily chart and earned a Guinness World Record in 2022. The 30-year-old worked with photographer James Macari three years ago for her SI Swimsuit feature, and we’re still not over the breathtaking results of her photo shoot.

The Grammy Award-nominated artist, who was born Larissa de Macedo Machado, donned a fabulous, glamorous set of sparkly, metallic, chain-embellished, netted and racy bikini and one-pieces while on location with the magazine. Each look was perfectly aligned with her signature glitz and glam personal style and on-stage aesthetic.

The same year as her debut with the magazine, Anitta was named to the TIME100 Next list as one of most influential people in the world.

Breaking records and making headlines for her musical success is nothing new or uncommon for the “Envolver” singer. She performed at TikTok in the Mix 2023, a festival that was broadcast worldwide and broke records with more than 33.5 million viewers and 17,000 people in attendance. Last year alone, she made her acting debut on Season 7 of Netflix’s Elite, and headlined three music festivals: Megaland Music Fest in Colombia, Mega Bash 2023 in New Jersey, and Virada Salvador Festival in Salvador, Brazil.
