Brooks Nader, one of four 2023 SI Swimsuit cover girls, has high hopes for who might land the coveted front of next year’s magazine. The five-time SI Swimsuit model, who was discovered through and won the ’19 open casting call, became the second Swim Search alumna to grace the cover of the magazine after Camille Kostek in ’19.

Nader, the oldest of four sisters who all live in New York City, was photographed by James Macari in the Dominican Republic earlier this year.

During SI Swimsuit’s events at Miami Swim Week last month, Nader was asked who she would like to see on the cover of the issue next.

“Honestly, I feel like it should just be me until the end of time,” she joked. “There’s such a long list of [women] I would love to see on the cover of SI Swimsuit. I mean I would love to see a sister’s shoot on the cover... but they don’t deserve that, so.”

Nader opened the SI Swimsuit Runway Show at the W Hotel South Beach with her three younger sisters, Grace Ann, Sarah Jane and Mary Holland last month.

“I would love a throwback,” the Baton Rouge native continued. “I know they did [the] Tyra Banks [cover in 2019], which was a favorite of mine because it was so nostalgic [of the] ’90s.”

She suggested Cindy Crawford or Paulina Porizkova, or “one of those legends.” Crawford was photographed in Bangkok, Thailand, by Marc Hispard in 1988, while 10-time SI Swimsuit model Porizkova landed on the cover after her sophomore photoshoot with Paolo Curto in Aruba in ’84.

“They look amazing and they are my inspiration,” Nader finished.
