Chrissy Teigen’s Fifth SI Swim Feature Was All Neon Bikinis and Bright Blue Waters

Of Chrissy Teigen’s eight SI Swimsuit Issue features, there simply isn’t one better than the next. Each one—captured in a distinct, mostly far-flung and almost invariably tropical locale—had its own charm. But perhaps her biggest was her 2014 cover photo shoot on the Cook Islands alongside fellow models Lily Aldridge and Nina Agdal

It was Aldridge’s first feature in the magazine and Agdal’s third, but Teigen was returning for her fifth consecutive feature in the annual magazine. Her experience made for an absolutely epic experience. Simply put, she knew what she was doing in front of the cameras.

She posed in her bright, patterned bikinis and flashed her contagious smile for photographer James Macari, a seasoned talent behind the lens. Plus, she was in a location that she couldn’t help but describe as “the most beautiful place on the planet”—high praise from the model, who had already traveled to the likes of the Maldives and Easter Island, Chile, with SI Swimsuit.

Each and every model that joined Teigen on the Cook Islands described the locale as “paradise.” It’s “all about the white sand and blue water,” the model remarked on set. “It was really nice to have really poppy suits. The neons with the background” made for “just spectacular photos.”

There’s little else we can say to prove the beauty of the place, we just simply need to give you the proof. Here are a few of the stunning photos from Teigen’s SI Swimsuit feature on the Cook Islands.
