Christen Harper Makes a Statement on the Miami Swim Week Runway

The reigning co-Rookie of the Year modeled a graphic tee and a sparkly bikini.

Christen Harper hit the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show at the W South Beach for Miami Swim Week on Friday, July 7, wearing a custom cropped-tee that read “My Body Is The Least Interesting Thing About Me” by Gabriela Pires Beachwear, paired with bottoms by Antoninas. She also wore a sparkly two-piece by Oséree.

After being named co-winner of SI Swimsuit’s Swim Search open casting call in 2021, the Southern California native earned co-Rookie of the Year honors in ’22. This year, the 30-year-old was photographed by Amanda Pratt in Dominica.

The annual Miami Swim Week event is held to showcase the latest and hottest swimwear trends from the top designers and brands worldwide. Attendees can enjoy fashion shows, special events, VIP gifts and more.

SI Swimsuit’s festivities began earlier in the day with a brunch and panel discussion featuring female entrepreneurs, including Nicole Williams English, a rookie in the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue. Brooks Nader, one of four of this year’s cover girls, did a live makeup demonstration with DIBS, a cruelty-free and vegan brand, while guests enjoyed piercing activations, courtesy of Electric Picks, and complimentary scalp massages from Divi.

In addition to her work as a model, Harper, who is engaged to Lions quarterback Jared Goff, starred in Women of the League, a web series featuring the wives and girlfriends of NFL players. She’s also ventured into fashion design and created her own line of swimsuits with B Swim, which was released this spring.
