If anyone could use a little bit of R&R, its five-time Grammy Award-winning artist Christina Aguilera. The singer-songwriter clearly did just that, as she documented a recent trip to a world-class wellness destination with her husband, Matthew Rutler, in Australia.

The 42-year-old “Genie in a Bottle” singer posted an Instagram reel on Dec. 7, which showcased a few of the couple’s adventures with their daughter. Aguilera, clad in a fluffy white bathrobe, walked along a stone pathway toward the camera before it cut to an indoor pool setting. The Burlesque star then swam around in a black one-piece swimsuit with her signature blonde locks in a high ponytail atop her head, her skin glowing.

“Days off 🩵,” she captioned her post simply, and set the footage to her own track, “Without You,” from her 2006 album, Back to Basics. Plenty of Aguilera’s 9.5 million followers piped in to the comments section to compliment on the idyllic surroundings at Alba Thermal Springs & Spa, or to inquire about new music.

“Alba is incredible 🩵🩵🩵,” one person noted of the Australian getaway.

“Nothing like a good day off,” another follower stated. “Enjoy life.”

“WHY ARE WE NOT PERFORMING THIS AT CONCERTS CHRISTINA IM JUST SAYING,” a user inquired of the track.

“MOTHER MARY FULL OF GRACE 🔥❤️,” someone gushed.

“We want a Back To Basics kind of album again,” one fan pleaded. “No one merges classic sounds and contemporary beats the way you do 👑.”

After having some time off to reflect, we can only hope Aguilera will deliver new music soon.
