Crystal Renn Dons the Color of the Season in These 5 Stunning Photos From Australia
American model Crystal Renn made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2012, heading to the coastal cities of Sydney and Cairns, Australia for her rookie feature in the annual magazine.
The model and author posed for a series of stunning photos in front of the lens of photographer Walter Iooss Jr., sporting a handful of red-and-white bikinis and one-pieces, which popped against the blue Australian waters.
The photoshoot took her along the Eastern coast, where she posed both on a boat before idyllic Australian landmarks, like the Sydney Opera House, and on the natural rock formations of the country.
In addition to her SI Swimsuit spread, the model has made memorable appearances on runways for brands like Jimmy Choo, Dolce & Gabbana and Chanel. She is also an accomplished author, having penned the memoir Hungry: A Young Model’s Story of Appetite, Ambition and the Ultimate Embrace of Curves, which documents her experience in the modeling industry and resulting struggle with body image.
Her résumé speaks for itself. It is, therefore, no surprise that her rookie SI Swimsuit photoshoot was such a success. Here are five of our favorite photos of the model in her best and brightest red swimwear on the Australian coast.
Now through Nov. 1, 100% of SI Swimsuit’s portion of proceeds from cover prints purchased here will be donated to the Maui Strong Fund, which is helping to support the people and places of Maui affected by the recent wildfires.
