Elle Macpherson Reminisces on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Step aside, Justin Timberlake. Jimmy Kimmel is bringing sexy back.

On Wednesday night, the late night talk show host had not one, but two beautiful guests who go by the names of David Beckham and Elle Macpherson. (Seeing as we're Swim Daily, we're obviously focusing on the later here, although personally, I might like to focus on the first...)

Swimsuit legend Elle Macpherson made her first appearance in our little magazine in 1985, and went on to be featured a total of nine times and landed a record five covers. One might say we have a little love for Elle.

During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Elle explained how she went from gracing the cover of SI Swimsuit to starting her own swimsuit calendar and beyond. The Australian native is known for turning her wildly successful modeling career into a full-fledged business, even creating a trademark for her famous nickname "The Body."

Elle wrapped things up by reminiscing about her early modeling days in the '80s and shared stories from encounters with some of the world's most famous celebrities. We're sure plenty of other celebrities are off somewhere thinking back on a chance encounter with our girl, Elle, too.
