Emily Ratajkowski’s GQ cover (and pics and story) is released to the world at large!
HERE IT is in all its glory. Shot by Michael Thompson, the issue will hit stands July 1 and is sure to stop a lot of people in their tracks. Emily Ratajkowski is maybe one of our most free-spirited models and has expressed that she has no problem shooting nude, which means very good things for all those Emrata fans out there. Her free spirit, and her proclivity for delving into deeper subjects like film and literature, also means she can be a fantastic interview subject, which is always a treat for a journalist. Here are some of the best things we learned from the story (full story):
- She finds it weird that she'll be forever associated with a song that she neither wrote nor sang and admits that whenever “Blurred Lines” comes on at a club she “runs into the bathroom and hides.”
- Emily was enrolled at UCLA intending to major in fine arts, with plans to pay the tuition by modeling.
- She drives a Nissan Versa, even though the producers of the Entourage movie, who wanted her to “play herself” put her in an Aston Martin. “I would never spend real money on a car, because I destroy things.”
As for the pics, here’s the cover from the sexy beach shoot. For more drool-worthy (you try to come up with a better adjective after you see 'em) images go here.
FYI: Emily also appeared in the November 2013 issue of the mag. Photos and video from that shoot are just a smidge less NSFW, but default to your common sense. More pictures from the shoot can be seen here.
