Emily Ratajkowski’s Green Skin-Tight See-Through Cut-Out Dress Is Giving Us All the Y2K Signs

Emily Ratajkowski is no stranger to bold fashion moments that leave little to the imagination—and she’s recently started adding color into her wardrobe, which we are big fans of. The supermodel’s latest look at the MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey on Sept. 12 had everyone talking–and we’re about to break it down for you.

The Inamorata Woman swimwear line founder donned a solid green mesh, criss-cross halter bra top that wrapped around her back, revealed her entire midriff and wrapped around her waist again for an open-hip cut-out and turned into a matching skirt. The bottom half of the dress featured a figure-hugging green panel that transitioned to a funky brown-orange-and-black print and flowy hem.

The HighLow podcast host paired the Jean Paul Gaultier number with strappy gold stilettos, two designer bracelets from Melissa Kaye and Gucci, diamond hoop earrings and a glittery Fendi purse. She showed off her washboard abs and toned figure.

The mom of one’s brown hair was loosely curled with her curtain bangs styled into a neat, face-flattering swoop. Makeup artist Pat McGrath she opted for Ratajkowski’s signature sultry glam moment with a little more oomph including over-blushed cheeks, dramatic lashes, black eyeliner and a glossy, over-lined taupe lip.
