Chicago Bears fan Erin Heatherton supports her team in style

The Chicago Bears may not have been able to pull off a win on Sunday against the New York Giants, but that didn't stop SI Swimsuit model Erin Heatherton from proving that you can support your favorite team and look great at the same time.

The self-proclaimed Chicago sports enthusiast teamed up with NFL Apparel once again to showcase the hottest looks in the league. In a MetLife Stadium suite covered in plush team blankets and sleek, spirited backpacks, Erin spoke about her partnership and the importance of sports in her life.

"I grew up with parents who were always watching sports and that was so ingrained into my personality and character," Erin explained to Swim Daily. "So after working for 11 years at this point, I started thinking about what kind of events I wanted to be at and what kind of people I wanted to be around. I just like being around people who like sports and appreciate what loving sports means—they are the true representation of triumph and drama and the ultimate comeback.

"The thing about fashion that I understand is that it's all about self expression and it should make you feel something," she continued. "When you walk by someone that's wearing your team's gear, there's that instant hometown pride. I'm a huge fan of vintage t-shirts and this is that sweet spot of sporty chic streetwear. The NFL Women's Apparel line does that so well. Everything is great to mix with boyfriend jeans. It's sexy. It's chic. I love that. And it really says something about you."

At the event, Erin styled a Chicago Bears Concepts French Terry Long Sleeve T-Shirt with a leather jacket layered beneath a black shaggy coat and enjoyed a pre-game, sideline rivalry with Briana Thevenin, sister to NY Giants player Victor Cruz.
