Gabriella Halikas Makes a Statement in These 4 Photos From Atlantic City

The model and body positivity advocate was a Swim Search finalist in 2021.

The 2021 Swim Search brought a group of 13 incredible finalists to the beaches of the Northeast. Among them was American model Gabriella Halikas, who made her SI Swimsuit debut alongside photographer Yu Tsai in Atlantic City.

Among other things, Halikas is a talented and well-versed model, who recently made her debut on the runways of New York Fashion Week. In September, she walked for the first time as a part of the JOVANI fashion show.

The content creator has also made a name for herself as a body positivity advocate, and has garnered a large social media following that she encourages to cultivate self-confidence.

The same was true of her SI Swimsuit feature, an opportunity which she was extremely excited for. “I really hope to inspire just everyone and anyone [who’s] watching this to truly love the skin they’re in,” she said of her photoshoot on the East Coast. “I know it’s not easy. It’s a hard journey. It took me many, many years.”

For Halikas, true beauty has nothing to do with external appearance. “What determines someone’s beauty is their heart,” she astutely said. “The way they treat others, their kindness, their patience with others, and just being a good listener, a good friend.”

In addition to offering those words of wisdom, the model posed for some absolutely stunning photos on the wide sand beaches of New Jersey. Below are a few of our favorites from the day.
