Hannah Davis to mentor the style stars of tomorrow on Lifetime's 'Project Runway Junior'
Forget wedding planning. SI Swimsuit cover model Hannah Davis has a much more pressing task on her hands as judge of Lifetime's newest show Project Runway Junior, which debuts tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The show follows 12 designers, ages 13 to 17, as they vie for a scholarship to the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, a feature in Seventeen magazine, a home sewing and crafting studio and a $25,000 cash prize.
Hannah will be joined at the judging table by Kelly Osbourne, designer Christian Siriano and executive fashion editor at Cosmopolitan and Seventeen Magazine Aya Kanai. The contestants will be mentored by ProjectRunway’s Tim Gunn. The show will receive a huge boost on the Dec. 10 episode, when First Lady Michelle Obama will make a special video appearance.
Hannah has served as guest judge on Project Runway, so she's no stranger to the franchise. But critiquing teenagers can be a bit tricky. In a video for Access Hollywood Live, Hannah spoke about the difficulty of criticizing kids "I want each kid to have the right opportunity to get further in the competition so I felt that I really had to be honest with them. And I wanted them to get better and learn and evolve as a designer on the show."
And who better to teach them then our cover model?
