Hannah Ferguson was photographed by Walter Iooss Jr. in St. Lucia.

For American model Hannah Ferguson, the set of a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit photo shoot is a familiar thing. Between 2014 and 2017, the Texas native made four consecutive appearances in the annual issue, traveling everywhere from Route 66 to Fiji

Each and every one of her appearances is worth taking another look at—they’re all just that great. But today, we’re taking a look back at her first photo shoot with the brand, which involved a trip to St. Lucia with the SI Swimsuit team and photographer Walter Iooss Jr.

While there, the 31-year-old posed in a number of really vibrant bikinis and in a variety of absolutely idyllic locations. In addition to posing on the bright sands of the tropical destination, Ferguson sat for some photos in the bow of a vibrant red row boat, floating on the dark blue waters of St. Lucia, and on the deck of a bright blue swimming pool in a neon patterned bikini.

The model certainly made an impression during that trip to the Caribbean. From there, she earned three more consecutive appearances in the magazine—and it’s not hard to understand why: she really made an impression during her 2014 debut.

Again, there wasn’t one of her photo shoots that was better or brighter than another, but we will forever be enamored with the one that made her an official member of the SI Swimsuit family. Below are just a few of the lovely photos from her stunning debut.
