Heidi Klum’s Throwback Modeling Pic Proves She’s Had This Year’s Costume in Mind for Years

The supermodel surprised her Instagram followers with a ‘different kind of peacock.’

The moment we’ve all been waiting for finally arrived last month: the unveiling of Heidi Klum’s annual Halloween costume. And while the supermodel dropped a few minor hints here and there leading up to the red carpet reveal, we never could’ve guessed she would incorporate 10 Cirque du Soleil dancers into her getup.

One of the supermodel’s more recent Instagram posts has us questioning whether we should’ve perhaps been combing the archives for a clue. On Nov. 15, the 1998 SI Swimsuit Issue cover star shared a trio of old modeling photos in which she was dressed up as, you guessed it, a peacock.

While the garb in her undated photos was much less intricate, Klum still impressed. In the first snap, she peered into the camera lens with a smolder while decked out in colorful plumes. The second image featured a close-up of the America’s Got Talent judge’s glam, including thick eyeliner, bold and dark brows, flawless skin and a pink-red lip. The final photo revealed that Klum was wearing denim jeans on her lower half, with a scarf laced through the belt loops.

“A different kind of Peacock 😜,” she quipped in her caption.

While Klum has her comments on the particular post disabled, we can only assume her 11.7 million followers were as thrilled by the throwback as we were.

It appears that the 50-year-old mom of four has been combing through her old photo archives quite regularly lately. Last week, she posted yet another stunning throwback glamour photo from her early modeling days. We can’t wait to see what she shares next!
