The SI Swimsuit star traveled to Central America for her 2019 brand feature.

Hunter McGrady first joined the SI Swimsuit family in 2017, when she participated in a bodypaint feature in Anguilla with photographer Josie Clough and makeup artist Joanne Gair. She’s returned to the fold numerous times since.

In ’18, the Los Angeles native traveled to New York, where she posed for a unique in-studio feature titled “In Her Own Words.” Again, McGrady was photographed in paint, but this time, various words adorned her body instead of a painted-on swimsuit. Her beachside photo shoots for the brand have since taken her to Costa Rica, Bali and Belize.

In addition to her work as a model, the 30-year-old is also a podcast host and proud mom of two. She and her husband, Brian Keys, welcomed their son in 2021 and grew their family to four when they welcomed their daughter last spring.

“I think the biggest advice I would give [to new moms] is don’t look at what other people are doing,” McGrady, then a mother of one, told SI Swimsuit in 2022. “I thought breastfeeding was going to be a breeze, but I had a really hard time with it. I had so many friends come to me and say, ‘You know, don’t ever compare your motherhood journey to anybody else. It looks so different for everybody.’ And that’s what makes the world go round, right? We were all raised so differently. We are all so different—that's what makes us so beautiful. And every day it's something new. I think that it’s important to really honor yourself during this motherhood journey.”
