The Internet Doesn’t Know What to Make of Kelly Ripa’s No Pants Christmas Post

Followers debated whether the television personality was wearing undies or swimsuit bottoms in her festive pic.

While holiday family photos shared to Instagram typically elicit sweet comments from friends and followers, Kelly Ripa’s Christmastime pics have her fans divided.

On Dec. 25, the talk show host shared a duo of pics alongside her husband and LIVE with Kelly and Mark cohost, Mark Consuelos. While the first was a sweet capture of the happy couple in front of a Christmas tree in their holiday best, the second photo caused some confusion.

In it, Ripa, 53, and Consuelos, 52, wore matching graphic T-shirts that read “Big Nick Energy” with a Santa Claus across the chest. The two posed arm-in-arm, and Ripa accessorized with a black sequined Santa hat—though she forgot her pants for the pic, and was captured in just a tiny pair of green bottoms on her lower half.

Many of Ripa’s 3.4 million followers pointed out the obvious in the comments section, while others debated whether the bottoms were undies or a swimsuit.

“Kelly forgot to put on pants 😂,” one person noted.

“why is she in her underwear?” someone else questioned.

“People!!!! It’s a swimsuit!!!” one fan added. “Can’t you see the cabana in the background!!! 🙄🙄 and if it was underwear, it’s her intsa, she can post what she wants!! Good grief.”

“Why can’t we see Mark in his underwear? That would be the greatest gift of all times,” another follower quipped.

Whether Ripa was showing off her undies or swimsuit bottoms, one thing is clear: the parents of three look like they had a great holiday season, which is what matters most.
