Julie Henderson :: Alex Cayley/SI

Happy Birthday Julie Henderson. With appearances in the last seven issues, the Katy, Texas native has become a fixture for SI Swimsuit fans, trailing only Anne V for most appearances by a current model. Julie has been modeling since the age of 13, when she was discovered at Barbizon Modeling School of Texas. After her discovery, Julie went on to do a string of local commercials before being signed to the prestigious New York Model Management at the age of 16.  In addition to Sports Illustrated, Julie has also appeared in Elle Girl, Glamour, French Marie Claire, Teen Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Photo, and Italian Vogue as well as campaigns for Benetton, L’oreal, Hugo Boss, Gap, Levi’s, Ann Taylor, Calvin Klein, Target, Boden, Sundance, Lands End, Talbots, Gant and Plaza Magazine. She recently launched her debut swimwear line for Basta Surf . Julie isn’t the only member of her family to rise to stardom; Her grandfather discovered the Henderson grapefruit while working at a citrus farm in South Texas.
