Julie Ordon Wore a Snake Around Her Neck for Her SI Swim Photoshoot

The Swiss model was featured in the annual magazine in 2010.

Julie Ordon was photographed by Ricardo Tinelli in Rajasthan, India.

Julie Ordon graced the pages of the 2010 SI Swimsuit Issue after an incredible photoshoot in Rajasthan, India. That year, the Swiss model traveled to the area of Northern India for a stunning poolside feature with photographer Riccardo Tinelli. Fellow brand stars Hilary Rhoda, Esti Ginzburg and Sonia Dara also posed for the publication in the same location that year.

Not only did Ordon’s feature showcase some incredible swimwear and great views, but the model also posed with several animals while on set. She sat atop a camel for a few snaps and even bravely posed with a snake wrapped around her neck in others.

In addition to her work with SI Swimsuit, Ordon has also been featured in prominent publications like Elle Greece and Cosmopolitan France, and has worked with brands like Giorgio Armani and Victoria’s Secret. The 39-year-old continues to model today, and has also added actress and entrepreneur to her résumé. She’s the creator of Bretzel and Gretel, a confectionary brand that makes chocolate covered pretzels.

While her SI Swimsuit photoshoot may have taken place 13 years ago, we remember the images Tinelli captured of the model fondly like it was just yesterday. While the snake photos are our favorites, below are eight of Ordon’s best SI Swimsuit pics, in which she showcased a sparkly purple bikini, a sheer black one-piece with a plunging neckline and more.
