Kate Bock Can’t Decide Which of Husband Kevin Love’s Teammates She Likes the Best

Kevin Love is a lucky man! His wife, SI Swimsuit model Kate Bock, is good friends with all his Cleveland Cavaliers teammates. At Miami Swim Week in July, the 2020 SI Swimsuit cover model revealed that she knows several of the players pretty well.

Fitness influencer and fellow SI Swim model Katie Austin asked Bock which of her husband’s teammates she is closest to, and Bock had a tough time choosing just one.

“Lots of them,” she responded. “I don’t know. They’ve become like brothers. Also, Kevin takes the longest to get ready after games, so I hug every single guy every time. Kevin is the last one out every single time.”

Love and Bock got married in June in elegant Gatsby-inspired ceremony at the New York Public Library. Many of Love’s current and former teammates—including LeBron James and Russell Westbrook—were in attendance.

“I don’t know,” Bock reiterated. “Larry Nance or Channing Frye or Richard Jefferson or Darius Garland or LeBron. Any of them, all of them.”

“They’re all such good guys, too,” Austin added. “Like Richard Jefferson’s the best friend ever.”

Bock and Love were set up by a photographer who had worked with both of them separately and suspected they would get along. He played matchmaker and sent them on a date at the St. Regis in 2015 and “the rest was history,” Bock told Vogue.

It evokes the old-school New York glamour we were searching for and is so iconic to the city that we love. We also love that it is so close by to the place we had our first date.”
