Kate Upton's Cleavage Takes First Prize

It's been a busy couple weeks for two-time SI Swimsuit cover model Kate Upton. First, California high school student Jake Davidson's plea for Upton to escort him to the prom went viral as the world wondered if she'd accept the invitation (she had to decline due to scheduling difficulties). Then she appeared on stage with Flo Rida at Samsung's Spring 2013 Launch Party. Next, she was named as a spokesperson for Gillette and immediately set off an internet frenzy with her grooming tips for men. But none of those compare to Thursday's earth-shattering news: Kate has the "best boobs in the world."The Sun, in celebration of National Cleavage Day, held an online poll asking readers to pick their favorite celebrity chest from a list of 30 famous starlets. Upton not only won, she received a fifth of all the votes registered, beating out such luminaries as Katy Perry, Sofia Vergara, Jessica Simpson and Coco. The victory is even more remarkable in light of an interview Upton gave Esquire Magazine where she discussed being bullied for her flat chest.

"I do know that when I was in junior high, I used to be made fun of — for being flat-chested. Everyone would go, "She's not pretty! She doesn't have boobs!" So I always had boob envy. And when finally I went through my growth spurt, and they appeared, and I just... I loved them. So that's why I like boobs, because I didn't have them, and then I got 'em. "

We doubt Kate has "boob envy" now - she's one of the most popular models in SI Swimsuit history and even has a doppelganger who is becoming a star. So congrats to Kate on this important achievement.
