Meet the Model: Katherine Webb

Brent Musburger has been the voice behind many of sports' greatest moments, but on a warm January evening in Miami, he helped propel Katherine Webb to fame. Webb, who won Miss Alabama USA in 2012 and is dating Alabama QB A.J. McCarron, was sitting in the stands of the BCS Championship game between The Crimson Tide and Fighting Irish, when Musburger spotted her in the stands. The veteran broadcaster then spoke about Webb's good looks, saying, "You quarterbacks. You get all the good looking women. What a beautiful women. Whoa. So if you're a youngster at Alabama. Start getting the football out and throwing it around the backyard with Pops."

And that's all it took. Webb went viral, landed on the pages of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, the reality diving show Splash and who knows what's next. The Auburn grad (yup, she went to Auburn, not Alabama) spoke to SwimDaily about posing for SI vs. the Miss USA contest, trying to make it in Los Angeles and the best advice she ever received.
