Kelly Gale Rocks a String Bikini Under the Full Moon

Forget sunbathing in the tropics—the model is making a case for a snowy swimwear moment this winter.

As a one-time SI Swimsuit model, we’re well-acquainted with Kelly Gale’s skill posing in a swimsuit in a tropical locale. Her 2017 feature with the brand took the Swedish-Australian model to Sumba Island, Indonesia, where she posed in a series of vibrant string bikinis on the light sand beaches of the idyllic destination.

In her latest Instagram post, she likewise posed for a stunning photo in a vibrant string bikini, but this time, the location was a little bit less conventional. Rather than taking to the beaches of some beautiful coast, she donned a bathing suit in an undisclosed, but stunningly snowy winter wonderland. In the photo, Gale posed in her fabulous string bikini with her hands on her hips and her bare feet planted in the bright white snow. The 28-year-old stood in front of a beautiful lakefront at night, staring off toward the bright full moon.

“The full moon doing its full moon magic🌕👀,” she captioned the carousel.

“Wow 🤩,” one follower gushed of the series.

“Frozen paradise 😍!” another added.

“Beautiful 👏,” a fan wrote.

In addition to the stunning solo snapshot, the Sweden native shared a few other snaps from her idyllic cold-weather vacation, featuring the stunning lake and the snow-covered shore. While we do love a good warm-weather tropical vacation—particularly during the winter—Gale is making us think that we should be seeking out a snowy swimwear moment on our next getaway.
