Kim Alexis Shares Throwback SI Swim Snap Sporting Stunning Red One-Piece

The brand veteran warmly reminisced on her days posing on the beach.

In the summer, it’s hard not to reflect on beachside memories from years past. For Kim Alexis, that means happy recollections of her days working with SI Swimsuit. The model was featured in the magazine in the ‘80s, sporting fun neon suits and big blonde hair. 

Alexis posted an Instagram throwback to posing for the SI Swimsuit team on Aug. 4, happily reflecting on her time by the water. In the photo, she leaned casually on the trunk of a tree and smiled playfully, donning a shiny red single shouldered one-piece swimsuit. Her characteristic blonde hair hung loosely over her shoulders.

“Nothing made me happier than working on the beach. This was a shot from @si_swimsuit Edition. I’ll take the sand & surf all day, any day. Doesn't get much better than that!” she captioned the heartwarming throwback. 

“You look so happy!!😊,” one of her 20,400 followers remarked.

“Gorgeous in red,” another admired.

The former model has spent her recent years focused on clean living advocacy and writing brooks on nutrition. But, like Alexis, we would give anything to go back to her Sports Illustrated years and those fun days by the water.
