Former professional volleyball player Kim Glass knows a thing or two about modeling some fabulous swimwear by the water. The college athlete was featured in the SI Swimsuit Issue in 2011, traveling to Banff, Canada with photographer Stephan Wurth for her feature.

The model and fitness trainer put her skills to the test again in a recent oceanfront photoshoot with photographer Isaiah Mays. Glass shared an outtake from the fabulous day to her Instagram on Oct. 23, highlighting her epic beach style, as well. She wore a strapless one-piece swimsuit with a series of stunning side cut-outs. In the snap, the athlete sat atop a natural rock on the beach in front of the crashing ocean waves.

“Connected to a higher me…,” she captioned the photo. Glass kept her style simple, wearing just the glamorous swimsuit and foregoing accessories for the oceanfront moment. With her long black hair blowing in the wind, the 39-year-old looked really ethereal—a fact that did not escape her followers, who took to the comment section to praise the look.

“😍😍 one of my faves of you ever,” one gushed.

“Stunning ❤️🔥❤️,” another said.

“👏👏👏🔥💛🙏🏼you look GORGEOUS , as always,” a follower expressed.

More than anything, the beachside photoshoot—like her prior SI Swimsuit feature—proved that Glass can do it all. She was an absolute powerhouse during her years as a professional athlete—earning a silver medal in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing—and currently as an athletic trainer and model, too.
