Lacy Schnoor’s 6 Best SI Swim Photos From Whistler, Canada

The freestyle skier posed for the publication in 2010.

Lacy Schnoor was photographed by Warwick Saint in Whistler, Canada.

When she posed for the 2010 SI Swimsuit Issue, Lacy Schnoor was prepping for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. The professional skier’s photoshoot aptly took place in Whistler, Canada, where she stepped in front of the lens for Warwick Saint.

The 38-year-old gymnast-turned-freestyle skier may have been used to boots and jackets for her competitive sport, but Schnoor quickly adapted to posing in swimwear while on location. She sported several string bikinis mixed with winter accessories, all in a similar red-and-white color scheme.

“The swimsuits were so fun, and one of my favorite ones was the one where I’m wearing the white bikini and I’m jumping up with the blanket,” she said of her time with SI Swimsuit. “[It] completely reminded me of like, watching the Tyra Banks modeling show and they’re always doing that and I couldn’t believe that I was doing that.”

When she posed for the SI Swimsuit Issue 13 years ago, fellow Olympic athletes Clair Bidez, Hannah Teter and Lindsey Vonn were also featured in the magazine. The Utah native has since retired from her sport and, according to her LinkedIn profile, works as a vaccine specialist for Sanofi Pasteur in her home state.

Below, find six of our favorite photos from Schnoor’s feature in Whistler, Canada, where she brought the heat to the slopes in more ways than one.
