Samantha Hoopes strutted the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show at the W South Beach for Miami Swim Week on Friday, July 7. The legendary model wore Rudi Gernreich and a top that read “Do My Nipples Offend You” and closed the show in a yellow Montce set.

A mainstay of the magazine, Hoopes made a major impression with two photo shoots during her debut year in 2014, including a body paint feature she posed for in St. Lucia. The 32-year-old was featured in seven consecutive SI Swimsuit Issues, and traveled everywhere from Nevis to Australia to the British Virgin Islands with the brand.

SI Swimsuit’s festivities began earlier in the day with a brunch and panel discussion featuring female business owners, including Nicole Williams English, a rookie in the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue. Later, cover girl Brooks Nader did a makeup demonstration with DIBS, a cruelty-free and vegan brand, while guests enjoyed piercing activations, courtesy of Electric Picks, and complimentary scalp massages from Divi.

Miami Swim Week showcases the latest and hottest swimwear trends from the top designers and brands worldwide. Attendees can enjoy fashion shows, open bar events, special gifts and more.

In addition to her work with SI Swimsuit, Hoopes has collaborated with notable brands like GUESS, and is also a proud mom of two. She shares a son and a daughter with her husband, Salvatore Palella.
