Lindsey Vonn Sports Fiery Red Bikini Among the Canyons

The professional skier is adventuring out west while recovering from her most recent knee surgery.

At the end of July, professional alpine skier Lindsey Vonn was sitting in a hospital room following her latest in a number of reparative surgeries to treat damage to her knee. Though her years of professional skiing have left her knees in poor shape, she assured her followers that she did not regret her iconic professional and Olympic career.

And she isn’t letting the recent setback stop her from enjoying herself, either. On Thursday Vonn shared a series of photos to her Instagram from a trip to the canyons of Arizona and Utah for an adventure along Lake Powell. She spent an afternoon on the deep green water, surrounded by the natural beauty of the rocks.

In the first snap, the 38-year-old retired athlete posed on the front of a boat before the deep red rocks of the canyons, sporting a red square-neck bikini top and matching bottoms. Vonn paired the look with a chic pair of black sunglasses. A gray compression sleeve covered her right knee, which recently underwent the operation.

“Doctor approved activities 🛟🏜️,” the Olympic gold medalist captioned the photos that she shared with her 2.2 million followers, pointing out her medical setback.

In the remainder of the slides, the three-time SI Swimsuit model jetted around the lake—surrounded by the red-rocked canyons—on a bright blue Jet Ski. She donned a red-and-white Red Bull-branded life jacket for the ride, which perfectly complemented her fiery red suit. The afternoon on the lake looked like the perfect outdoor, adventurous activity for the recovering Vonn.
