Lindsey Vonn Takes on the Early Fall Waves in Stylish Fiery Red Bikini

Following another knee surgery in July, the professional athlete is just as active as ever.

Former professional alpine skier Lindsey Vonn has proven again and again that knee injuries and subsequent surgeries can’t stop her. Nor can they keep her from outdoor activity for very long. Following another knee surgery in July, she was back to adventurous sports as early as the second week of August, when she donned a bikini for an afternoon of jet skiing and foil boarding in the canyons of Lake Powell.

Her most recent adventure involved more water sports and, unfortunately, another—minor—injury. Vonn followed up her high fashion moments at New York Fashion Week earlier this month with an afternoon of boating and wake surfing. She donned a red bikini and her best Red Bull life jacket and hat and took a spin riding the waves behind the boat.

“Before the 🪼 was the 🏄‍♀️ and the @redbull 🚨 No cans were lost in the making of this! I would never litter,” she captioned the Instagram clip that she shared from the day. Vonn was sipping on a Red Bull as she surfed the waves and wanted to make sure her followers knew that she didn’t leave any cans behind.

Unfortunately, the fun surfing session ended in a not-so-fun jellyfish sting, which left a mark on the back of the Olympic gold medalist’s leg. Knowing Vonn, though, the injury won’t keep her from setting out again for another outdoor adventure. On the water or not, she’s sure to be caught playing another sport soon.
