Martha Stewart Is ‘Working on the Bikini Body’ in Case of a Return to SI Swimsuit

The 2023 cover model told ‘People’ she would gladly return to the fold.

We’ll never miss an opportunity to celebrate Martha Stewart. After making history this year as the oldest woman to grace the cover of the SI Swimsuit Issue, the entrepreneur is and will forever be in the record books where the brand is concerned. Her photoshoot in the Dominican Republic was fabulous enough to keep us in awe of the 82-year-old for years to come.

And as it turns out, the experience was, for her, just as great as it was on our end. While attending the 2023 FN Achievement Awards on Nov. 29, she took the opportunity to share a little bit more about her photoshoot experience with People. She told the magazine that her experience in the Caribbean country “was fun,” a sentiment that we wholeheartedly concur with. So fun, in fact, that the New Jersey native declared herself willing and ready to do it all over again.

Martha Stewart was photographed by Ruven Afanador in the Dominican Republic.

Next time, though, Stewart would want to wear a bikini, rather than just the one-piece swimsuits she donned the first time around. “I’m working on the bikini body now,” she told People.

Prior to her 2023 photoshoot, we already knew Stewart could do it all. Over the years and as the founder of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, she has more than proven her business acumen. And with an SI Swimsuit cover feature in the books, Stewart has proven she is also highly skilled in front of a camera lens.
