Michelle Lombardo turns 30

Michelle Lombardo burst onto the scene in 2003 when she entered SI's inaugural "Fresh Face" contest. This is the passion statement she submitted for the event: "I'm a born athlete. My lifetime involvement in sports has shaped me into the person I am today. They have taught me self-esteem, respect, perseverance, responsibility and determination. In high school I focused mainly on volleyball, and since moving to Southern California I continue to play on the beach." The statement won over the audience as Michelle won the contest and appeared in the 2004 and 2005 issue. After SI, Lombardo pursued acting and appeared in episodes of Entourage and Californication as well as the movies Click and All In. And even at 30, she looks as good as ever. Happy birthday Michelle.
