Q&A: My First Kiss

In her book The Sugar Queen, Sarah Addison Allen famously says, “I think Heaven will be like a first kiss.” For many of the SI Swimsuit models, the first kiss was anything but heaven. "My first kiss was very very awkward," laughs Genevieve Morton. "Afterwards I think he turned gay. I'm not sure." For others, the memory is more special. "My ballroom dancing partner when I was six-years-old" Anne V recalls of her first time. "And we kissed. And it was very cute." In addition to Genevieve and Anne, we asked Cintia Dicker, Chrissy Teigen, Kate Upton, Crystal Renn, Ariel Meredith, Alyssa Miller, Jessica Gomes and Nina Agdal to recall their first kiss. For most, it was embarrassing and funny to look back on. For Julie Henderson, the memory just needs to go away. "Awful, awful," the veteran swimsuit model recalls. "It's just like, you don't know what to do. I'd like to think I've gotten a little better, but who knows."
