Olivia Culpo Stuns in a Plunging Black Gown on the Fashion Awards Red Carpet

Despite a humorous little slip up with her dress, the model took to the event in absolutely incredible style.

Fall fashion month is far behind us, but—thankfully—we still have glamorous events to look forward to and appropriately fabulous outfits to admire. That includes, of course, the British Fashion Awards, which took place on Dec. 4 in London.

Among the aptly well-dressed stars to take the red carpet was American model and former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo. Unsurprisingly, the ever-fashionable 31-year-old brought her A game to England and the BFA red carpet.

She stepped out in a figure-hugging black gown with a sculpted, plunging neckline and glamorous black-and-pink beaded detailing around the waist. Culpo sported a slicked-back hairstyle and a full face of shimmery makeup for the occasion—glam fit for the stunning dress.

Though we thought she looked just about perfect, the SI Swimsuit model took to her TikTok page after the event to share the slight flaw in her outfit that plagued her the whole night. In a clip she termed a “BFA horror story,” she shared that the tan fabric spanning her plunging neckline actually tore while she was in the car on the way to the red carpet.

“I guess it’s not that bad, but it broke my heart a little bit, I’m not gonna lie,” she said with a laugh. “You come all the way to London and your dress breaks,” she added, pretending to cry.

Though Culpo deemed it “devastating,” in the caption, we have to admit, we wouldn’t have noticed it if she hadn’t pointed it out. Regardless, she looked stunning.
