Olivia Dunne Shares Inspiring Words for Fellow Athletes Alongside Powerful Gymnastics Photos

She has cultivated an incredible personal brand and encourages other athletes to do the same.

LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne has made a name for herself in gymnastics and beyond. Through her social media following and NIL brand partnerships, the athlete has built up her brand beyond the confines of the gym. 

But she’s not satisfied with merely her own success: Dunne wants to ensure the success of other female college athletes, as well. To that end, she created The Livvy Fund with Bayou Traditions earlier this year to help her fellow female student-athletes cultivate NIL deals.

Her motivations come from a belief that she has espoused that athletes have much more to give than just their in-gym abilities. She took to TikTok on Oct. 9 to share exactly that message. Dunned posted a slideshow that included two gymnastics photos and a snap from her 2023 SI Swimsuit debut. “Real eyes. Realize... You are more than your sport!!!” read the text on the slides.

“and i stand by that,” she wrote in the caption. Dunne, who has cultivated brand partnerships which extend beyond her talent in the gym, often uses her platform to encourage other athletes to pursue ventures outside of their sport.

A great example of Dunne’s well-rounded brand came in the form of her trip to Puerto Rico with photographer Ben Watts for her SI Swimsuit photoshoot this year. While there, she posed for a series of stunning photos while flaunting her gymnastics skills on the beach. If anything, the experience was only further proof of her impressive capabilities—Dunne is certainly more than just her sport.
