Olivia Dunne’s Take on the Hardest Part of Holiday Gifting Is So Relatable

For the gymnast, finding the perfect present isn’t the most difficult part of the process.

You might say that the most difficult part of holiday gifting is finding the perfect present for your family and friends. And  while it’s a daunting task, if you’re anything like Olivia Dunne, that’s not nearly the worst aspect.

The LSU gymnast took to her TikTok recently to share her comical take on the hardest part of the season. According to the 21-year-old, she seems to find keeping the gifts she finds for her friends and family a secret far more difficult than finding the presents to begin with.

In the short clip, she paced back and forth in her room in her all-gray athleisure. “Me fighting the urge to tell people what I got them for Christmas,” she wrote on the clip.

“i can’t help myself,” she wrote in the caption. But she’s not alone. Her followers voiced their agreement with the sentiment in the comment section.

“No because same it’s the hardest thing ever,” one wrote. To that, Dunne replied, “Like I’ve been scheming for months,” proving that the planning that she puts into her presents makes it harder to keep a secret.

“Ikr like it’s so exciting to see their faces when they open them that you just want to tell them,” another agreed.

“Right?!?! It’s so hard!!!!” another exclaimed.

Thankfully for the athlete, the waiting period is almost over. And at least she knows she’s not alone in the feeling of impatience when it comes to holiday gifting.
