Paige Spiranac Jokes That She Plays Better Golf When She Wears Less Clothing
Influencer Paige Spiranac is known for hitting the golf course in casual athleisure. While many country club golf courses require more business casual attire in order to hit the links, the 30-year-old revealed that she actually plays better when she’s wearing less clothing.
“I want it on record that I wore a golf appropriate outfit today and it didn’t help my score,” Spiranac wrote on Twitter on Aug. 1. “I shoot lower the less I wear. It’s science.”
On Instagram, the one-time SI Swimsuit model noted that she played a round at Liberty National Golf Club in New Jersey. She wore a green-and-white patterned Tuckernuck dress for the occasion, with noticeably a bit more fabric than she typically opts for. The golf instructor accessorized with hat by Monday Swimwear and white FootJoy sneakers.
The former pro golfer posed for the 2018 SI Swimsuit Issue, when she traveled to Aruba with photographer James Macari. Earlier this year, Spiranac called the feature “one of the most important shoots in my life.”
“It was just such a life-changing moment for me... and I carry everything that I’ve done in that shoot to everything that I’m doing now,” she told SI Swimsuit.
