The start of a New Year is always an occasion to celebrate, and Filipina model Pia Wurtzbach acted accordingly. The jet-setting 34-year-old spent her holiday in the Maldives, the tropical South Asian archipelago in the Indian Ocean.

Alongside her husband, Jeremy Jauncey, she spent the first day of 2024 on the idyllic white sand beaches of the destination, taking in the warm summer sun. Their relaxing day ended with a stunning sunset walk, for which Wurtzbach dressed accordingly. The model wore a bright red swimsuit, which perfectly matched the fiery sunset sky. She paired it with a white button-up as a cover-up and no shoes.

Wurtzbach shared a series of photos to her Instagram from the evening stroll, including a few stunning solo snapshots in her red bikini in front of the vivid orange sky. She also included a sweet pic of the pair dressed in their best beachwear and embracing during golden hour—the perfect setting for a romantic evening.

“First sunset of the year 🌅,” she captioned the beautiful series of snaps from their holiday getaway.

“Beautiful sunset with the beautiful couple 😍,” one follower gushed in the comments.

“Beautiful,” another complimented Wurtzbach.

“My favorite couple✨💥💫😍,” another said of the sweet pair.

With her several obligations and career pursuits, the former Miss Universe spent much of 2023 traveling the world, and documenting it, too. We fully expect that with the New Year will come new adventures, and we can’t wait to follow along.
