Pro Surfer Courtney Conlogue Dazzled During Her Summery Photoshoot in Turks and Caicos
Surfer Courtney Conlogue was featured in the SI Swimsuit Issue in 2020, when she traveled to Turks and Caicos for a gorgeous beachside photoshoot with James Macari. The professional athlete rode her first wave when she was 4-years-old and never looked back. At the age of 11, the Santa Ana, Calif., native became the youngest person ever to be selected to the USA Junior Surf Team.
“A lot of the individuals that have [been featured in SI Swimsuit], like Ronda [Rousey] and Serena Williams—there are so many women that are just so powerful and are moving their sports. I really think what you do beyond what you practice in sport creates what you are once you put that jersey on. I practice being the best version of me daily,” the 31-year-old told SI Swimsuit while on location for her feature with the brand. “That’s why I handle my life with levity and humor, but then I have that focus and that power too. There’s that time where I flip that switch and game’s on. I might smile, but trust me, I want to win.”
A two-time runner-up for the world surfing title, Conlogue loves spending time in nature and is always on a new adventure. She released a collection of bikinis and one-pieces with swimwear brand JOLYN earlier this year, and is also the creator and founder of apparel and coffee company Sea Tiger.
Below are five stunning and colorful photos from Conlogue’s SI Swimsuit photoshoot in Turks and Caicos.
Now through Nov. 1, 100% of SI Swimsuit’s portion of proceeds from cover prints purchased here will be donated to the Maui Strong Fund, which is helping to support the people and places of Maui affected by the recent wildfires.
