Even Salma Hayek can relate to having a great hair day when she puts in little to no effort. The Academy Award nominee shared a photo of herself taking a dip in the water on Instagram on Sunday, and mused about her beach hair.

The 56-year-old From Dusk Till Dawn star donned a bright turquoise one-piece as she stood in thigh-high water. Hayek appeared to be captured post-swim, as her dark, wet locks hung down her shoulders in subtle mermaid waves. She held a pair of sunglasses in one hand and wore a hair tie on the same wrist.

“Every now and then, your hair decides to cooperate when you least expect or when you least needed,” she quipped of her unstyled, yet gorgeous locks in her caption.

Tons of Hayek’s 26.4 million followers piped in to the comments section, and the photo quickly racked up nearly 600,000 likes.

“Hello beautiful 🤩,” one person wrote.

“Definition of goddess,” someone else added.

“No truer words,” Eve Hewson concurred of Hayek’s hair statement.

While it’s not clear where the actress and producer is enjoying her end of summer fun, she’s been sharing plenty of swimwear content with her IG followers lately. On Aug. 24, she lounged in a hammock while wearing a white cover-up atop a navy blue two-piece and shared footage of herself scuba diving underwater.

“Find a place that makes you wander and dream of your safe place🤍. For me it’s under the ocean 🌊 , it gives me a lot of peace, but it destroys my manicure 💅🏽,” she joked of her sea adventures.
