Selita Ebanks on Catfish; World asks, Why? We say, Why not?

Image placeholder title

SELITA EBANKS made a guest appearance on MTV reality show Catfish this past Wednesday, though some would argue, inexplicably.  Selita, who you may recognize from the 2007 and '08 editions of SI Swimsuit, filled the role of "supermodel intern" (we all need one of those) to show creators
Nev and Max, helping to uncover the truths—or lack thereof—behind an online relationship.

The Cayman-born beauty claimed she was interested in the online relationship phenomenon, but given her dating history (Nick Cannon, Ryan Howard, Kanye West,Osi Umenyiora) we doubt she has a need for those kinds of services. As for catfishing, the model does have one incident to her name when she pranked David Spade in a Funny or Die sketch in a parody of the popular MTV show. Still, fans of the show were unconvinced of her qualification, taking to Twitter to express their confusion.

That's where SwimDaily comes in. In defense of Selita, we've compiled a few reasons to prove that Selita's contribution will always be indispensable. To the archives!
